True Union Cartridge Design Ball Valves
Cartridge design allows valve body to be easily removed from the line for simple maintenance. The valve
can be turned off and then disconnected on the downstream side while the upstream side is still
pressurized. PVC and CPVC have seats of PTFE backed with EPDM, and EPDM O-rings. Polypro and PVDF
have seats of PTFE backed with FKM, and FKM O-rings.

Low-Cost On/Off Actuated Ball Valve
Unidirectional one-quarter-turn motor uses up to 2.2 amps of 115 Vac single phase power, 25% duty cycle, 5 second cycle tie. Motor housing
(5" H x 3 1/4" L x 3" W with 1/2" FNPT electrical port) is high impact ABS plastic with NEMA-4 rating. Valves and actuators are integrally mounted and
cannot be separated for replacement or repair. In clean water service, the valves are rated for 250,000 On/Off cycles. Ball seat is PTFE backed with
EPDM; seals are EPDM. An optional limit switch permits feedback of valve
position to confirm proper open/close valve position.

True Union Ball Check Valves
Restricts flow to one direction only. Commonly used on the inlet side of non-self-priming
pumps (such as centrifugal and diaphragm metering pumps) to keep liquid in the
pump drive section. These check valves are not spring assisted; they operate by
gravity only and must be vertically mounted. PVC and CPVC versions have seats
and seals of EPDM.
