The LD200 Series ac powered LVDT transducers provide an economically priced range of displacement sensors that feature rugged construction and high performance. The series covers a broad range of measurements from 1.25 to 10 mm (0.05 to 0.40 inches). Use these transducers where high resolution and repeatability are important. The coils are wound on a rugged bobbin housed in a stainless steel case. Its epoxy bonded construction makes the device suitable for operation in applications with wet or oily environments or where high levels of mechanical stress (vibration, shock, etc.) are encountered. The armature assembly provides friction-free movement within the sensor due to the large radial clearance of the bore. These transducers offer excellent linearity, low levels of residual voltage and good temperature coefficients, making them ideal for most industrial or general purpose displacement measurement applications.
